Privacy notice

Who has responsibility for your data?

The controller for personal data you send via SponsorLicence is Kensington Guidance Ltd. Our address, if you'd like to write to us, is 1 London Wall, London EC2Y 5AB.

The details we gather

Nothing beyond the solicitor form you fill in: your name and work email, a phone number if you include one, plus whichever business details you pick (your needs, business size, timing, roles, any past refusals, and your note). We also store your IP address, your browser type, the page the form came from, and the time, so we can show the agreement you made, and when.

Our purpose and lawful basis

Your details let us pass your question to a single immigration solicitor firm, which can then contact you. Your consent, given when the form is sent, is one lawful basis. The other is our legitimate interest in recording that consent. Your details are never used for marketing, and you won't be put on a mailing list.

Who gets your details?

How long do we hold your details?

After you send form details, we hold them for 24 months and then delete them, unless the law says we must keep them longer.

Your rights

You may ask for access, corrections, or deletion of your data. You can also restrict or object to our use of it, get a copy, or withdraw your consent whenever you like. Send your request by post to 1 London Wall, London EC2Y 5AB. Not satisfied with our reply? You can then raise a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Cookies and storage

No cookies are set by SponsorLicence, and it loads no tracking or advertising scripts. Your last answers, from the checker and the calculator, are saved in your browser's local storage, ready for your next visit. Nothing in that storage leaves your device, and it's gone once you clear your browser data.

Immigration advice and referrals

Kensington Guidance Ltd is not regulated to give immigration advice, nor is it a law firm. Under UK rules, only solicitors and barristers may give immigration advice, along with advisers the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA, earlier named the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner or OISC) has registered. General information on the published rules is all that our pages, the checker, and the calculator offer. They don't advise on your own case.

Once you send the form, one immigration solicitor firm receives it from us. A fee may be paid to us by that firm for the referral. You're free to pick any other adviser, and this fee never shows up in what the firm charges you. Referral arrangements are something solicitors must tell you about, under Solicitors Regulation Authority rules.
