Who we are
Kensington Guidance Ltd, 1 London Wall, London EC2Y 5AB, runs SponsorLicence. UK employers use it to see if sponsoring a worker is possible, what that would cost, and what their duties are once licensed.
The source of the figures
GOV.UK is where the site gets each fee, salary threshold and deadline: the sponsor guidance, the Immigration Rules appendices, and the fees table from the Home Office. Each page links the official page behind it. We check the tables against those pages every quarter, plus each time the Home Office issues a statement of changes.
How the calculator and checker work
Both tools run inside your browser. Your answers never leave your device, and we don't receive them. The official occupation tables are read by the checker, and the calculator sums the published fees.
The solicitor form: what it does
Sending the form means we pass your details to a single immigration solicitor firm, and that firm contacts you. Immigration advice isn't something we give. In the UK, the only people who may give it are solicitors, barristers and advisers on the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA, previously the OISC) register. A referral fee may be paid to us by the firm. The fee you agree with the firm is never affected by that.
Because it is a firm of solicitors, it is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, and once it replies you can look it up on the SRA register.
How to reach us
Post reaches us at Kensington Guidance Ltd, 1 London Wall, London EC2Y 5AB. For a question about your own licence, the quickest route is the solicitor form, and the firm replies to your work email.
